"Recherche Avec" network Symposium 2025
Location: Sherbrooke (Canada) and online.
International meeting coordinated by Gilles Monceau from EMA research center
The aim of this request is to support the organisation of the 6th Symposium of the international interdisciplinary Frenchspeaking
network Recherche avec (https://rechercheavec.com/), which will be held in Sherbrooke (Quebec) from 12 to
16 May 2025 and in hybrid at several French universities, including CY. 20 EMA researchers and doctoral students will
travel to Sherbrooke and others will take part online The EMA-CY laboratory is a co-founder of this network, whose scientific committee is cochaired
by Gilles Monceau (EMA). Part of the 2018 edition took place in Gennevilliers with the support of CYAS. The
network contributes effectively to the international socialisation of EMA doctoral students and to its influence.
The 2025 symposium will analyse ‘with’ research from the point of view of the people and communities concerned in
education, health and social work and in various academic disciplines. The 2025 symposium will take place at various
times in the community and at the Université de Sherbrooke (UdS): 1) Scientific (university panels and people primarily
concerned, workshops for up-and-coming students); 2) Practical (working time with partner organisations); 3)
Experimental.
Recherche avec brings together 200 to 300 professors, students, practitioner-researchers, stakeholders and users from
public, private and government organisations at each event.
