Research in group programme

CY Advanced Studies is launching a programme enabling research to be carried out in small groups (up to three people) within the institute.

The aim of the programme is to give researchers the opportunity to take their project forward or create a new one in the best possible conditions. They also have the opportunity to take part in the Institute’s activities (seminars, guest lectures, etc.). Visits up to three weeks may be accepted.
The visitors will be accommodated at the residence of the institute and will have a shared office during their stay. They will have an access to the common and meeting rooms, as well as to the canteen of the university which is at a five-minute walking distance from the institute.
Any group of researchers from the academic community, with or without local collaborator, can apply for the programme. Applications are accepted at any time of the year as long as funding is available, and the decisions are taken by an ad-hoc committee within two weeks from the date of submission.

 
Financial conditions
In addition to the accommodation provided free of charge, the visitors will be paid per diems of €40/day per person. Transport expenses cannot be covered in any circum-stances.

 
How to apply
To apply for the the programme, you need to fill in the application form, attach three papers of members of the group published in the last five years, and send all together as a zip file by email to the address cyas@cyu.fr, with all the members of the group in cc. The receipt of application will be acknowledged by return of mail.
