Léna Sylvestre is a PhD candidate in legal history at CY Cergy Paris Université (Centre de philosophie juridique et politique) and at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (CORE research group), as part of a joint doctoral program. Her thesis focuses on the influence of linguistic plurality on the drafting and implementation of international legal norms, through a historical case study of the multilingual regime of the United Nations. Her research lies at the intersection of legal history, international law, and institutional multilingualism studies.
