AI and self-governance: How can AI help humans collaborate to transform collective decision-making?

Location: Learning Planet Institute 8bis rue Charles V 75004 Paris

International meeting coordinated by Chahab NASTAR from the Learning Transitions research center.

With the skills and experience to organize and make their own decisions, the globe's communities gain an essential tool for political and economic empowerment. But spreading the values and practices associated with small-scale, everyday democracy is challenging for reasons of scale, resources, and research into the basic elements of self-governance training. How can AI help humans collaborate to transform collective decision-making?

This workshop tackles a new dimension by exploring how AI can scale collective action by facilitating the spread of beneficial practices and useful tools. During this workshop, we will bring together experts from various backgrounds to co-design a vision on the role of AI and self-governance in shaping the future of self- and group-directed learning and education.
