Dominik Bertrand-Pfaff, Canonical Professor at the University of Saarebrück (Germany), specialist in social ethics and political ethics will question the relationship between ethics and aesthetics

Humans of all times have been preoccupied with questions of the senses, of taste, of beauty, of images, of representations, of interpretations, which could on the one hand provide and maintain a legitimation of the given order but of the on the other hand, to question him, to challenge him. Questions of perception to those of the realm of art represent the vast field of aesthetic questions. The questioning of the order given by aesthetics is often linked to ethical and political questions. We will study some key positions in the discipline.
