« Politics and research with », a francophone and interdisciplinary initiative

The international scientific network "Research with" organizes in France from April 23rd to 28th April, 2018 the third edition of their meetings

The international network "Research with" is organizing a scientific week from April 23rd to 28th 2018 in France. This is the third edition of its biennial scientific meeting, after Ottawa 2014 and Niteroï 2016. This francophone international network seeks to develop a qualitative research orientation of transversality through different fields of research (education, health, social), disciplines (sciences of education, nursing, anthropology, psychology, social work) and countries (Brazil, Canada, France, Mexico, Portugal).

The 2018 edition will develop the central theme of "Politics and research with”. It is conceived in a multisite design. The opening of the event will take place at Cergy-Pontoise University on the site of Gennevilliers, and activities - conferences and round tables, meeting between researchers, practitioners and people concerned by their work - will be organized in Gennevilliers and in the Paris region, but also at Lille, Strasbourg, Poitiers and Limoges. These events will address the issues of vulnerabilities, parenthood, pedagogies, research methods, child protection, early childhood, NGO work, and relationship between popular education and health. The organisation of local events follows the collaborative orientation of our network associating researchers and “field partners”.

This international scientific week will be an opportunity to experiment with exchange and scientific production devices involving research subjects. It will demonstrate the UCP's involvement in these innovative approaches to research.
