International conference coordinated by Adeline Gand, ERRMECe laboratory
Reparative, reconstructive and regenerative medicine, but also comfort therapy, wellness... have exploded as majors scientific endeavors during the last decades. To face the challenges of medicine and biomedical healthcare, the community of sciences and technics propose various innovative systems, that includes various and complementary characteristics and mechanisms from biological, chemical, mechanical, biotherapeutic, electronic, nanotechnologic, cognitive science...
The aim of this international, multicultural and multidisciplinary symposium will be:
- to give “at a glance” a survey of the diversity of the pioneer, modern biomaterials and implantable medical devices
- to foster collaborative efforts of biologist, biochemists, chemists, physicists, clinicians, electronicians from France, Europe (especially EUTOPIA), but also all over the world
- to favor interdisciplinary collaborations and avoid gaps and gain the confidence of researchers from different scientific background to participate within biomaterial research in an interdisciplinary environment.
One mantra: "Innovation, translation, transdisciplinary, pedagogy & vulgarisation" during two full days with key actors of the interplay of mechanics, electronics, chemistry, biology and disruptive technologies of materials for regenerative medicine.
To embody and share common dreams: 2 plenary lecturers, 12 prestigious keynotes speakers, 20 selected Sr. & Jr. orators, at least 30 posters – with flash presentations- will be scheduled during 2 days to share exciting science with more than 100 to 150 attended participants (from master and engineer students to seniors scholars and researchers...)
