Springtime school for digital humanities
The IDHN will organize its Springtime School on April 2 to 4, 2019. This event will be held during Professor Jean-Guy Meunier's visit from UQAM.
Two public conferences will also be organized on April 9 and 12, 2019
With the emergence of the theme of the digital humanities in several laboratories of the UCP, the IDHN (Institute of the digital humanities) wishes to impulse trainings, in particular in the strategic fields of the establishment in humanities (R2S: risk, society, security), Creations (with the EUR), Patrimonies (with Patrima), etc. This spring school will offer thematic conferences on these subjects, practical sessions supervised by IDHN's direction and engineering unit, and plenary lectures. This is part of the coming of the guest professor Jean-Guy Meunier, professor of digital humanities at UQAM, and a member of the Academy of Philosophy of Science.
This event is addressed especially to IDHN PhD students, who will thus be able to benefit from an advanced training, but also for colleagues who carry or wish to carry digital humanities projects.
