Materials and high temperature

11/07/2018

Scientific activity organised by laboratory L2MGC on Wednesday 11th July, 2018 in Room B306 located on Neuville-sur-Oise site.

Coordinators: Anne-Lise Beaucour and Albert Noumowe

As part of the research work in the L2MGC Thermo-Hydro-Mechanical Materials division and the scientific activity of the CMI Chair "Constructions, Materials and Innovations", this day is organized to strengthen exchanges between local and international researchers and PhD students of L2MGC. This is a great time to discuss the L2MGC's research results and those of colleagues from Canadian and Italian universities. The day will be divided into two stages:

- In the morning: L2MGC researchers' presentations. The partners of the CMI Chair as well as the colleagues co-supervising the PhD theses are invited to this moment of exchange which will concern mainly the works financed within the framework of the CMI Chair. The participation of Italian and Canadian colleagues invited will be very useful.

- Afternoon: Seminar on the Thermo-Hydro-Mechanical behavior of Materials related to sustainability (fire and nuclear applications). One common point will be to highlight prospects for the development of concretes better resistant to high temperatures (ordinary aggregates concrete, recycled aggregate concrete, heavy aggregate concrete, ...). The results of the work carried out in collaboration with the University of Padova (Italy) and the University of Ontario (Canada) will be exposed.

This day will be an opportunity to highlight the scientific collaborations of L2MGC and promote the development of the CMI Chair.
