Colloquium on innovative materials and buildings subjected to fire

Venue: Maison Internationale de la Recherche, Neuville-sur-Oise

International conference coordinated by Albert Noumowe, L2MGC laboratory.

Following the previous workshops at L2MGC, the objective of this workshop is to provide a framework for exchanges on the results of research from L2MGC and industry. We plan eight presentations. At least half of them will involve members of L2MGC. The works to be presented are mainly those in collaboration with researchers from other organizations, particularly foreign ones (Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Université NOVA de Lisbonne, Université de Douala, University of Saskatchewan). The presentations will focus on innovations in construction materials and behaviour of materials and buildings subjected to fire at scale of material and structure. One of the main topics to highlight is the development of materials which resist better to fire. The symposium aims to bring together the community of national andinternational researchers, as well as managers and practitioners concerned with the construction: research centers, design offices, architectural firms, construction materials companies. This workshop will also be an opportunity to promote L2MGC's international collaborations in this area and to start new collaborations.
