Astronomy for Education in French-speaking World

Venue: High School Pierre Mendès France, Tunis, Tunisia

International conference coordinated by Francois Dulieu, CY LERMA laboratory.

This event is the second edition of the "AstroEdu-Fr" conference. The first edition took place in 2021 and brought together 260 people in remote mode. This second edition will take place in person, at the French high school Pierre Mendès France in Tunis. Our ambition is to pursue the constitution of a French-speaking community in the field of astronomy for education, by relying on the International Office of Astronomy for Education (OAE), and the French-speaking node (OAENF-CY) hosted by the University CY Cergy Paris.
The program of the conference will include lectures on the themes of teaching and mediation of astronomy and on current topics in astronomy, as well as workshops in small groups to allow for the implementation and analysis of sessions with active participation of everyone. This conference is therefore aimed at teachers, trainers, mediators and researchers interested in the use of astronomy in formal and informal education.
