Are you a French PhD student at one doctoral school of CY Cergy Paris Université? Would you like a research residency in the United States? This call for applications is for you! The Fulbright - CY Initiative program can provide you with funding for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Financial support to French PhD students of doctoral schools of CY Cergy Paris Université for research residencies in the United States as part of the Fulbright - CY Initiative programme.

Who can apply?
This call for applications is open to French PhD students enrolled in one of the doctoral schools of CY Cergy Paris Université in all disciplines.

! PhD students already in the United States at the time of application are not in theory eligible.

Length of the research residency
From 4 to 12 months depending on the research project

Period for residency
Residencies must begin between August 2022 and May 2023.

Financial support includes
- A monthly grant of $1,500
- A €1,200 travel allowance
- Free visa
- Complementary health insurance

Candidate selection process
1- Pre-selection of written applications
2- Final selection after interview in March 2022

Application procedure
- Applications should include three letters of recommendation and an official invitation from the American host institution.
- Applications must be submitted online on the Franco-American Commission's website
