Research project

Current research in collaboration with pedagogues practicing alternative pedagogies in Canadian and French public schools

Philippe Chaubet, Ph.D., professor at the Department of Physical Activity Sciences, in the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) has many past, present and future collaborations with EMA research laboratory. This project aims at making his partnership with EMA stronger by combining the different following approaches: alternative pedagogies, learning by using physical activities, well-beeing and health. Results about research with French and Canadian primary school teachers using alternative pedagogies will be presented during the International Conference ‘Primary school in the 21st century’. Prof. Chaubet will also give a presentation at ILEPS. The Project ‘Ingenuity of "different" school organizations in the face of socially pressing questions: what inspiration for Quebec and for France?’ will also be presented.
