Study of the durability and heat transfer of a hollow body floor made of fibrous materials and earth: case of laterite, rice husks, wood of Borassus aethiopum and Calamus deerratus
This project concerns the field of materials and structures in reinforced concrete. It consists of a study of the process of valorization of forest and mining resources in the design and realization of modern structures in reinforced concrete in rural towns. The objective of this study is to add value to lateritic soil, rice husks, and Borassus aethiopum (roan) and Calamus deerratus (rattan) wood, for their rational use in the construction of social housing floors.
