The 17th World Congress of the Society for Social Choice and Welfare will be held at the Paris School of Economics from July 3 to 6, 2024, and will be preceded by a workshop dedicated to research on Participatory Budgeting on July 2. The meeting will address all aspects, both normative and positive, of welfare economics, collective choice, and strategic interactions. Although primarily composed of economists, the society intersects with other disciplines, such as political science, philosophy, computer science (notably artificial intelligence), and mathematics.
