Rendez-vous en didactique : Mathématiques, Sciences

Venue: Université de Paris

International conference, coordinated by Maha Abboud, CY LDAR

Research in didactics has developed in relation to the need to take into account the specificities of disciplinary knowledge in the teaching-learning relationship. Anchored in the reality of the classroom, it has been structured around school disciplines: chemistry, geography, mathematics, physics, earth sciences, life sciences... They have thus become fields of exploration, thereby organizing the field of didactic research into disciplinary sub-fields. Researchers in didactics of chemistry, geography, mathematics, etc., work in various theoretical environments, often specific to a disciplinary didactics because they are subject to the epistemological particularities of the knowledge that is studied. But disciplinary lines are moving, theoretical frameworks are circulating among didactics, curricular evolutions are decluttering certain school disciplines and imposing "new" knowledge to be taught. In this context, new questions and new research objects emerge requiring plural didactic approaches. Taking hold of, clarifying and developing new research questions are all opportunities for dialogue between didactics and the crossing of views and perspectives. Based on an original and proactive organization, this "Rendez-vous en didactique" is a unique opportunity to confront our approaches and to project our research communities in didactics of mathematics and natural sciences towards fruitful multi (or even inter) disciplinary scientific horizons.
