New directions in disordered systems. A conference in honor of Abel Klein (UC Irvine)

Venue: La Maison Internationale de la Recherche (MIR), Neuville-sur-Oise

International conference, coordinated by Constanza Rojas-Molina (CY AGM) and François Germinet (President of CYU)

Abel Klein is Professor of Mathematics at the University of Irvine California, specializing in Mathematical Physics. He is a world-renowned expert in the Theory of Random Schrödinger Operators, with a contribution of approximately 120 publications in top scientific journals. In 2020 we celebrate the 75th birthday of Abel Klein, and he wished that this celebration could take place at the University of Cergy. On this occasion, we would like to organize a one-week conference (June 27 to July 1, 2022) in his honor, to which all the experts in the discipline will be invited, as well as a number of his collaborators (around sixty participants are expected). The event will also be an opportunity to present the state of art of the field as well as the latest discoveries.
