Design your home for digital humanities
Location: L’Isle Adam
Workshop coordinated by Julien Longhi, CY Laboratory AGORA
Since its creation in 2018, the Institute of Digital Humanities has stimulated projects and moments of exchange and
training, emphasizing the multidisciplinary dimension. By combining work in humanities, heritage, communication,
language, IT, geography, many challenges have been initiated, and several projects have already been well established
(funded projects, thematic schools). With delivery of the MIR SHS due in the 2nd half of 2024, IDHN will play a strategic
role in the SHS ecosystem. This school will be an opportunity to promote mutual understanding and to highlight new
collaborations and cooperative ventures, through thematic workshops linked to the MIR's themes, but with a focus on
digital issues (data and methods/tools). A selection of colleagues will be invited to take part in practical workshops on
data archiving and analysis in the social sciences and humanities.
