Burnout in different contexts

Venue: Campus Condorcet, Paris-Aubervilliers

International conference coordinated by Emilie Boujut, CHArt laboratory.

Burnout is the consequence of stress that has become chronic and for which the individual has not been able to develop adequate coping strategies. Depending on life contexts, there are different stress factors (professional stress, school stress, etc.). Likewise, it is essential to distinguish burnouts because they have similarities but also distinctions that it is necessary to understand in order to better understand, evaluate and implement psychological interventions. This scientific day will invite expert researchers in professional, academic, parental and caregiver burnouts. The presentations of their work as well as the discussions with the public will help to improve the care of the individuals concerned and to reflect on the most relevant research perspectives in the field of burnout.
