Guest Lectures
CY Advanced Studies organizes a series of Guest Lectures each year, either in the Maison Internationale de la Recherche in Neuville-sur-Oise or at a distance. Foreign guest researchers, who stay at the university in the framework of different scientific programs and who are hosted in the laboratories as well as at CY Advanced Studies, are invited to present their research work, focusing on cross-scientific issues and also social and scientific applications.
These conferences target a broad public of researchers, going beyond the necessarily limited scope of disciplinary seminars. Hosting renowned international guest researcher or a researcher holding a chair, for example, favors generalist cross-disciplinary discussions between colleagues who work in different laboratories but who share converging scientific interests.
