The project that we would like to submit lies within the spectral analysis of the Laplacian on Sasakian manifolds. Let us first recall the context. Given a Sasakian manifold, Schmude defined in his paper a new Dolbeault operator that acts on the sets of all differential forms. This operator acts on all forms rather than just forms transverse to the Reeb vector field. It also takes into account the wedge product with the transverse Kähler form of the Kähler foliation on the Sasakian manifold. To a better understand of this operator, one might construct the cone over the Sasakian manifold and show that the Dolbeault operator is just the del-operator on the cone, considered as a Kähler manifold.
