Bâtiments et ouvrages en BETON, Monuments historiques en PIERRE, comportement du matériau en situation d'incendie

Venue: CY Cergy Paris Université - Neuville-sur-Oise site

This scientific and technical workshop, recurring at CY Cergy Paris University since 2006, follows on from the research work carried out at L2MGC on the thermo-hydro-mechanical behavior of construction materials in a fire situation. The first part of the workshop deals with the behavior of stone masonry in a fire situation. The importance of this research theme became evident again, especially after the fire in Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral. The second part of the workshop focuses on the behavior of concrete elements in a fire situation with a focus on a topical subject, which is the introduction of recycled aggregates in structural concrete.

The symposium aims to bring together the community of national researchers (University of Pau et des Pays de l’Adour, University of Orleans, University of Bordeaux, University of Paris-Saclay) and international (Vale do Rio dos Sinos University, Brazil and University of Queensland, Australie), as well as managers and practitioners concerned with the conservation (CTMNC, LRMH, ROCAMAT, CSTB, FNTP).
